Tips for best results

  • Single language per file: Speak works best when each recording is primarily in one language. Multilingual recordings may have lower accuracy.

  • Clear audio matters: Good microphone quality and minimal background noise improve accuracy in all languages.

  • Automatic detection: Speak automatically detects the language of your recording. You do not need to specify it manually.

Less common languages

For languages like Haitian Creole, Krio, or other less common languages, transcription may have lower accuracy or may not be supported. If you need a specific language that does not seem to work, reach out to our support team and we can check availability.

Translation

After transcription, you can translate your transcript into any of the supported languages. Go to your transcribed file and use the Translate option.
