What this does
When the Speak AI Meeting Assistant is in a Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams call, it transcribes the conversation live. With the MCP server connected to Cursor, you can pull that running transcript straight into your editor and ask questions about it as the meeting happens.
Connect Speak AI to Cursor
Open Cursor's settings and go to the MCP section.
Add a new MCP server with the URL https://api.speakai.co/v1/mcp.
Authenticate with one-click OAuth from mcp.speakai.co, or add an API key from app.speakai.co/developers/apikeys as an Authorization: Bearer header.
Save and restart Cursor so it loads the Speak AI tools.
Pull the live transcript
Start your meeting and make sure the Speak AI Meeting Assistant has joined the call.
In Cursor, ask for the live transcript (for example: "Get the live transcript of my current meeting and summarize the decisions so far").
Cursor calls Speak AI's live-transcript tool and returns the running transcript. Ask follow-ups as the conversation continues.
Good uses
Draft code or notes from what is being discussed, without leaving your editor.
Catch action items in real time and turn them into tasks.
Ask "what did we decide about X" mid-call instead of scrubbing back.
Live transcription may depend on your plan. If the live transcript is not available, message us on live chat and we will help enable it. See all MCP tools at mcp.speakai.co.
The fastest way to reach us is the live chat in the app (the chat bubble in the bottom corner). You can also email [email protected].
