Getting Started with ChatGPT
Speak AI works with ChatGPT's MCP Connector — giving ChatGPT access to your recordings, transcripts, AI insights, and media library.
Step 1: Get your API key
Go to app.speakai.co/developers and copy your API key.
Connect Speak AI to ChatGPT
Open ChatGPT and go to Settings → Integrations (or Connectors)
Select Connect to MCP Server
Paste the MCP URL:
https://mcp.speakai.co/mcpEnter your Speak AI API key when prompted
Click Connect
Verify the connection
Ask ChatGPT: "List my recent Speak AI recordings" — it should return files from your library.
What you can do
Transcribe and analyze audio and video files
Search across your entire recording library
Run AI prompts on any transcript
Export transcripts and AI summaries
