Tips for efficient editing
Play and edit simultaneously: Listen to the audio while reading and correcting the transcript. Use Tab to pause when you spot an error.
Use Find and Replace: For recurring errors (like a consistently misspelled name), use Cmd/Ctrl+F to find and replace all instances at once.
Use AI Chat: For bulk edits, try AI Chat commands like "Replace 'gonna' with 'going to'" or "Change Speaker 1 to John Smith".
Name speakers first: Before doing other edits, rename all speakers. This makes the transcript much easier to follow.
You can view all available shortcuts by clicking the Shortcuts help icon in the transcript editor.
