Speak AI Webhooks

Overview

Webhooks allow you to receive real-time updates from Speak AI whenever important events happen within your account. This means you can automatically trigger actions in your own systems as soon as something significant occurs, like when a transcript is ready or an insight is generated.

By connecting Speak AI to your applications, you can streamline your workflows and react instantly to key moments, ensuring you never miss an important update and can automate follow-up tasks efficiently.

Getting Started

To access this feature, go to Integrations β†’ Webhooks in your dashboard.

How It Works

When a specific event happens in Speak AI, we'll send an automatic notification (a POST request) to a web address you provide. This allows your system to receive information about these events in real-time.

Setting Up a Webhook

Follow these steps to set up a new webhook:

  1. Log in to the Speak AI Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Developers > Webhooks.

  3. Click Create New Webhook.

  4. URL: Enter the web address (endpoint) on your server where you want to receive these notifications.

  5. Events: Choose the specific events you want to be notified about. Examples include media.created, media.processed, or insight.generated.

  6. Click Save.

Verification

Speak AI may send a test notification to your provided URL to confirm it's working correctly. Please ensure your server is set up to respond with a 200 OK status code when it receives this test.

Next Steps

Ready to get started?

  • Login to your account and navigate to the Webhooks section in your dashboard.

  • Create a new webhook by providing your server's URL and selecting the events you're interested in.

  • Test your setup to ensure you receive notifications correctly.
